This was an amazing race on a stunning course – destined to be the Big Sur Marathon du Norte! The beach run was wonderful but understand it could only happen at lower tides. But if kept, perhaps there could be boards to help at the stream crossings. The natural beauty of the Oregon Coast along with beer and good food at the end could push this race to the top of the “Marathon Must Do List.”Bob Kennedy
The route is beautiful and challenging. The traffic wasn’t bad. The weekend escape to the beach was nice. The people along the course as well as the runners were supportive and cheerful. Well organized.Runner

Unique. Beautiful scenery. The hardest. Most beautiful. Most rewarding marathon I have done.Runner
It’s a runner’s race. It’s difficult, hilly, and so lovely. Really enjoyed a one day relay!Runner
