Dear 3 Capes Relay Participants.
We are offering both a 6:30 AM or 7:30 AM shuttle. These are the times the shuttle is leaving Whalen Island. The 6:30 AM shuttle is for the 7:30 start and the 7:30 shuttle is for the 9 AM start.
The key detail that you need to be very clear of for this 2024 race is that the shuttle leaves from Whalen Island, since that is where the finish line is this year. Whalen Island is located on Whalen Island State Park on Whalen Island Rd. Please google it before Saturday and pre plan on how you will get there.
We have limited parking at Whalen Island, and it could get messy, so if there’s any chance someone can drop you off at Whalen Island for the shuttle at 6:30 or 7:30, that would help us out. Besides that, please park as compactly as possible.
We have a bussette for the 6:30 crowd and a full bus for the 7:30 crowd. We will not be waiting for you, so please leave plenty of time for you to get to Whalen Island.
We have a bag drop (me) at the start line, so please bring a bag/jacket, etc. Leave it with us at the start and it will be there for you at the finish line.

One year we had someone fly from New York to run the race, but they showed up 5 minutes late for the shuttle–she tried calling me 10 times, i I didn’t get the messages until later that afternoon. Please don’t let that be you this year.
