Although the race starts and ends at sea level, there is more than 2,400 feet of climb throughout the race.  This is a rugged and difficult course and best conquered with some help from your teammates.  Here is a ranking of the easiest legs to the most difficult.  Click on each leg below to see a complete description of each leg and a map.

Leg 4, 4.25 miles, rated easy

Leg 5, 7.02 miles, rated moderate

Leg 2, 4.11 miles, rated difficult

Leg 1, 4.47 miles, rates very difficult

Leg 3, 6.35 miles, rates extremely difficult
