2024 DETOUR

Leg 5, 4.45 miles, rated easy.

Due to a slide prior to entering into Pacific City, we are unable to finish at Pacific City this year.  The handoff still takes place at Whalen Island, but runners will run 2.1 miles to Tierra Del Mar and turn around back to Whalen Island where the finish will be held.  

Runners and teams are encouraged to exit the island in a timely manner (head to Pacific City for a good meal and beer) to make room for more runners. 

This is our best solution.  thank you for your understanding and we look forward to a clear road in 2025.
